With a career spanning over a decade, Mr. Abhay G. Chebbi has carved an influential path as Alliance University's inaugural Pro-Chancellor, solidifying his position as one of the youngest leaders in the country. His journey commenced as the Director of Admissions, where he orchestrated substantial advancements in student enrolment and Executive Education programs.

Guided by a strategic vision, Mr. Chebbi spearheaded the global expansion of Alliance University through the Office of International Affairs. I would like to introduce you to Fayis Asraf Ali, who has cycled more than 18,000 miles through 36 countries from Kerala in India to London. The ride was flagged off with a lot of local fanfare on the Indian Independence Day i.e. Aug 15, 2022. He ended the 450 day ride at the iconic Tower Bridge in London which was hus final destination. But to be part of Paris Olympics 2024, he pedalled from London to Paris which was flag offed on 14-07-2024 at London Tower Bridge. Currently he is in Paris.
37-year-old Fayis travelled through Oman, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, Iran, Armenia, Georgia, Turkey, Greece, North Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia, Slovania, Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Netherlands, Belgium, UK and France before he reached what he called his dream landmark.

Rather than one specific cause, Fayis has taken on multiple causes for his ride - to create awareness about fitness and healthcare, “End Polio Now” of the Rotary Mission, promoting conflict resolution and peace building, and Go Green by focusing on Zero Carbon emission and anti-drug campaign.
 He has already spoken at 26 schools, 10 colleges and 3 Universities during the stretch of his ride.

A few years ago, he cycled from India to Singapore across 7 countries, pedalling nearly 5,000 miles in 104 days conveying the Rotary theme “Rotary Connects the World”. The ride was sponsored by Rotary.

Currently He is riding on an American company Surly Disk Trucker Cycle, which was sponsored by a UAE-based travel and luggage accessories company, Parajohn. Emirate first, another Dubai-based company is the supporting sponsor.  Rotary International is also supporting the ride.

Fayis is from Calicut, Kerala, India and I am proud to be married to this amazing man who is a doting father to two amazing boys Fahzin Omar (9 years) and Izin Nahel (5 years).
